Mural Collage
This series of large scale mural collages were developed through the bursary 'Time for practice' offered by the The Collection and Usher Gallery, with mentoring advice from Geoff Diego Litherland.
It was created in reaction to the smaller collages from the frustration of the limited size of printed media and a need to create big, bold artworks.
The process is similar to the smaller collages - building a bank of randomly cut pieces of coloured paper and I spontaneously compose while keeping a really acute and sharp attention to balance in the composition.
This perfect choreography between chance and control enables to create organic, fresh artworks that feels like being nature.
