OMAR BOUTA
Omar Bouta’s photographs begin before interpretation.
Working without staging or intervention, he records situations that would normally pass unnoticed: partial figures, architectural interruptions, colour shifts caused by weather or time of day, objects that appear temporarily misaligned with their surroundings.
Rather than searching for decisive events, he works with unstable moments where meaning has not yet settled.
His images resist narrative. They do not explain the world. They pause it.
Across his work, attention becomes the subject rather than the scene itself.
Photography is treated less as documentation and more as a method for recognising when something briefly becomes visible.
